Australian Cricketer Shaun Tait in Kai Po Che

The latest buzz around the corner is that the well-known Australian bowler Shaun Tait is reportedly to do a special appearance in Abhishek Kapoor's forthcoming directorial venture 'Kai Po Che', which is based on Chetan Baghat's book 'The 3 Mistakes of My Life'. The movie is based on three friends - Govind, Ishaan and Omi - who are targeting to achieve their individual dreams.

As cricket is an essential part of the movie 'Kai Po Che', the producers, UTV Motion Pictures, were looking for a prominent international cricketer to rope in, and thus apparently have zeroed down Australian fast-bowler Shaun Tait to play an important role in the movie.

The creative director of Disney UTV, Manish Hari Prasad, said that they are in the hunt of a well-known foreign fast bowler, and as Abhishek is a good friend of the Indian bowler Ashish Nehra, he then suggested Shaun Tait's name. Further said that the discussions with Shaun are presently going on, and probably he will soon be doing a special appearance in the film. The film is shot widely in Gujarat's Ahmedabad, Porbandar, Sabarmati, Vadnagar and Diu cities.

'Kai Po Che' features actors such as Raj Kumar Yadav, Amit Sadh, Amrita Puri and Sushant Singh Rajput in their respective important roles
